Internal Alterations
We believe that open and flexible living spaces in your home can vastly improve your quality of life. Internal alterations can provide this without the need to extend.
It is true that not all internal alternations need Building Regulations approval. However, the basic rule of thumb is that if your works are involving load-bearing walls, chimneys, fireplaces or walls around staircases then any alteration will require inspection and approval from your local building control team.
Please note that for most of these works, we will require a site visit in order to correctly identify the loadbearing elements and to propose a suitable structural solution based on the existing layout and condition of the materials.
